Short Bio
Lori Calcei is the current County Recorder, elected in 2016 and loves serving the GREAT residents of Portage County.
She is very passionate about her responsibility to record, preserve and make accessible the land records of this County.
In addition, she is very proud to have accomplished the following in her first term:
Implemented a New Computer System
Completed Scanning and Indexing all the County Plats
Completed a redaction project on past documents
Brought e-Recording to the County
Created the Good Deeds Program
Expanded the Century Farm Program
Implemented a Property Fraud Alert Program
Enhanced the Veteran ID Card Program
Continuously Provides Great Customer Service
Lori is a lifelong resident of Portage County and lives in Suffield Township with her husband, of 34 years, Steve. Together they have 3 married daughters and she is a proud "MaMa' to 4 grandchildren, with another on the way.
Lori looks forward to continuing to be the County Recorder when re-elected in 2020.
